We are headed for the Steampunk festival!What is steampunk?
Steampunk is a literary and artistic movement that melds elements of Victorian-era history and fashion with modern technology and fantastical fiction. What if the seminal science fiction adventures of authors Jules Verne and H.G. Wells described our world today? What if we could fly in airships, sail in submarines like the Nautilus, and enjoy a good cup of tea while we're at it?
Our plan is to meet at the office by 1030am. From there we will head to Waltham to attend the festival. The festival typically has live music and performances, many interesting demonstrations, souvenir shops and more! We will have lunch while we are there. Lunch will either be at the food trucks at the festival or we will travel to a restaurant on Moody St. to fit everyone's dietary needs. We will plan to be back at the office by 130pm.
Cost per outing-$125 per person which includes the cost of lunch
