Brothers Mike and Mark Mangham of Twin Blends: Northwest Louisiana History Hunters, will discuss the importance of steamboat travel on the Red River in the late 1800s up until the early 1900s. The use of AI will give attendees a front-row seat as old photos are transformed into video giving everyone a better idea of what steamboat travel was from the second clearing of the “Great Raft” in 1873, up until the last steamboats docked in Shreveport. The event is free and open to the public. Registration required for nonresidents.
