About this Event
3,2,1 Blast Off!
Kids will have a BLAST as they combine physics and engineering to explore the science behind rocketry. This STEAM Saturday session will bring kids’ creativity to life while they design rockets to shoot to the Moon! Kids will be challenged to learn about the aerodynamics of flight and engage in various activities that combine fabrication with the Fab Lab's Design Process. Kids will create their very own rocket to bring home! This session is sure to be out of this world!
NOTE: This session will not repeat activities from any previous STEAM Saturday event!
Who should attend: Children currently in grades 1 through 6 are invited to register; students will be broken into small groups based on ages once registration closes.

The Bucks IU's Fab Lab Center is the hub of STEAM education in Bucks County!
All attendees of events and activities at the Fab Lab Center must follow the Bucks IU Health and Safety Plan.
Ticket fees include all Eventbrite processing fees, 2.5 hours of instruction, materials, take-home information for families, and a free t-shirt!
