STEAM Labs: The math of Doll Fashion

Bring your 16” doll and creativity! Together we will learn how geometry can be used in fashion to create new, daring looks for your doll and come up with some ideas for your own wardrobe! This non-sew activity will explore the nature of squares, rectangles, and circles and how to combine them to get your own doll catwalk ready!
Level 1- Identify and decorate pre-made jacket for doll
Level 2- Assemble and decorate pre-cut shapes for doll jacket
Level 3- Cut, assemble, and decorate doll jacket
At MAS we believe the fun of learning doesn’t stop when you grow up, so why not learn and have fun together with the whole family! “STEAM Labs: Family Edition” is specially designed for all members of the family, young and old, to learn and create together. STEAM Labs will have a science demonstration followed by an art-filled activity you can take home to keep. All members of the family will learn and create together as these activities are designed to work at three different skill/age levels. Each level will be on display during the program so you can choose the level that best suits you!
Tickets to this program include general admission for that day!
