STEADY (Film Screening) + LUX TREVIS BAND (Live Band)Steady: Directed by Divya Gordon, STEADY follows Gabriel Camolesi’s attempts over 2 years to break the world record for the longest unicycle ride on a highline — 105 meters in length and 40 meters above the water, in our very own Sydney, Australia. The film captures the thrill of the challenge, the camaraderie of the slacklining community, and the relentless pursuit of human potential. Steady features a full original score composed by Lux Trevis, who will peform parts of the score live!
The night will also feature a Q&A with Director Divya Gordon.
Following the Q&A, local legend Lux Trevis brings his full 8-piece band to the stage for a night full of music and culture.
Then get ready to dive deep into Lux's Brazilian roots, a journey through original compositions full of Afro-Brazilian rhythms, Jazz harmony, Roots Reggae/Dub and more... The show will feature some of Sydney's most exciting and innovative musicians, Including Abby Constable, Sarah Purdon, Alex Grace, Harry Thompsett, Yannick Koffi and Marina da Silva. After studying Jazz at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, Lucas has been diving deep into his compositions and arrangements and is thrilled to bring his full band down to Milton!
