Staying Healthy with the Seasons: Five Element Acupuncture Classes with Elizabeth Otten, L.Ac., EAMP

This is a five-part class series running from Fall 2025 through Summer 2026. Join one or all of these classes focused on living in tune with the seasons through the wisdom of Five Element acupuncture. Classes are led by Natural Health Clinic’s licensed acupuncturist and East Asian Medicine provider, Elizabeth Otten. Classes are in-person only and are $40 per class.

Class #4: The Fire Element

DATE: Saturday, June 27th, 2026

11:00 am – 12:30 pm PDT

The Fire Element is expressed through four meridians:

• Heart
• Small intestine
• Pericardium - This is responsible for protecting the heart and governing emotional boundaries.
• Triple Burner - This regulates circulation, temperature, and harmony between the body’s upper, middle and lower regions.

In contrast to the winter solstice, the summer solstice is the most Yang time of year, filled with joy, warmth, and connection. You’ll walk away knowing how to cultivate our inner fire or light while preventing burnout and heart-related imbalances.

What to expect:
The lecture will last about an hour, followed by a 30-minute community-style acupuncture treatment focused on the Water Element.
