Oh my lordy! It's only gone and happened!
FINALLY, we are super excited to announce that Swiss trash legends ⚡️THE MONSTERS ⚡️will be playing their FIRST EVER BRIGHTON SHOW!!
Reverend Beat-Man’s original band finally hits these shores!!!
👹The Monsters were formed 1986 in Bern, capital of Switzerland. Their sound is a fuzzed-out mix between ’60s garage punk, wild teenage trash rockabilly and primitive rock‘n‘roll, and black metal boogie. It's 187% not MTV or top 100 shit! It is simple One-Riff-Trash-Rock.
👹Besides their countless shows in Switzerland, The Monsters have played extensive tours throughout Europe including Germany, France, Holland, Belgium, Italy, Austria, England, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Russia, Spain, and more. Who will ever forget their Luxembourg show! They’ve toured Argentina, Brazil, Japan, USA, and Mexico. Needless to say The Monsters are a kick-ass live band that burn every stage down. They have been invited to support acts like Guitar Wolf, The Monks, The Sonics, and many more.
👹Over the years, The Monsters have recorded eight albums. Tons of their singles and EPs have appeared on countless compilations. The record „Youth Against Nature“ was recorded in the now famous Toe Rag Studios (London) by Liam Watson. „I See Dead People“ came with a 1000-piece puzzle, booklet, sticker and button and was already sold out during the tour. „Garage Punk Vol. 1“ is a double LP with 20 years of trash. „M“ is the newest full-length album and „Jungle Noise“ a re-issue.
👹The Monsters appear on Voodoo Rhythm Records out of Switzerland. Voodoor Rhythm is run by Beat-Man, who is the singer and guitar player of The Monsters. Beat-Man played – and still plays in – other projects like Lightning Beat-Man, Reverend Beat-Man, Die Zorros, and more.
👹…Go see them live on stage. if you dare.. they will blow your brain away with their one-riff, chainsaw massacre, no bullshit, primitive garage punk rock‘n‘roll trash…
