Stay In Touch: A conversation with Nashville-based dancers
About this Event
Stay In Touch: A Conversation
What helps us stay connected—to ourselves, to each other, and to the communities we care about?
Join Dogs Eat Wind for Stay In Touch, an interactive gathering that blurs the lines between panel discussion, community dialogue, and live performance. Rooted in conversations with local artists, community leaders, and neighbors, this event invites everyone into the room, not just as audience members, but as participants in a shared exploration of care and collective possibility.
Rather than a traditional panel on a stage, speakers will be seated throughout the audience, creating a more open and conversational atmosphere where ideas can move freely and everyone is welcome to contribute. Between exchanges, performances will bloom, offering embodied responses to the stories, tensions, and possibilities emerging among us.
Together, we'll explore questions like: How do we build meaningful relationships in an increasingly disconnected world? How can artists and communities support one another beyond institutions and algorithms? What becomes possible when we simply gather and listen?
The evening will culminate in a final performance by Dogs Eat Wind members Hannah McCarthy and Hayden Hubner, sharing research from the project and from their most recent residency in Rome, Italy with members Milena Borgonovo and Deborah Congedo.
Come as you are. Bring your curiosity, your questions, and your perspective. This is a space for conversation, imagination, and connection. We hope you'll stay in touch!
