Make a statement with your jewelry! In this class, students will learn the basics of metalsmithing, design, and more to create a hollow silver statement ring. Skills such as filing, sanding, soldering, and polishing will be covered, as well as forming, roller printing, and stone setting. Students will design and create their own statement ring during this four session class.𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗲:

Jeweler and metalsmith Gaby Alvarado will teach this class and help students bring their pieces to life! Gaby graduated with a BFA in Jewelry/Metals and Graphic Design from the University of Texas at El Paso. She brings her many talents as a teacher, artist, and metalsmith to the studio.
Silver materials are included in the class price. No experience is necessary. Participants must be at least 13 years old and able to easily go upstairs and downstairs because our studio is in the basement.
