Enjoy story times in the picnic area of Rib Mountain State Park over the Free Fun Weekend! Children and their caregivers are invited for special summer story times at Rib Mountain State Park on June 6!
Each story time session features a delightful mix of stories, songs, and activities that foster early literacy, creativity, and a love of reading. Story times will be held in the picnic area of the state park at 10:00-10:30 and 11:00-11:30 a.m. Follow the MCPL lawn signs that will lead you to the picnic area. After story time, stick around to enjoy the beautiful state park!
Since these story times happen over the Free Fun Weekend, the park does not require a vehicle pass for this weekend only! Check out their admission passes if you have a great time and would like to come back again this summer.
This free event is open to children and their caregivers, with no registration required. In case of rain, the story times will both be moved to the Aquarium Room at MCPL Wausau. For more information, contact 715-261-7220.
