Based on true events, State Organs follows the deeply personal journeys of two families who have spent decades searching for loved ones who disappeared while in police custody. What they uncover is unimaginable: a state-run organ harvesting operation that still exists today. Their story is one of heartbreak, courage, and the unwavering pursuit of truth.

In 2025, China's Xi Jinping and Russia's Vladimir Putin were caught on a hot mic discussing increasing longevity and even achieving immortality through repeated organ transplants. In this context, the screening of State Organs is both timely and necessary, offering critical insight into the broader implications of these developments.

State Organs is a meaningful documentary with global impact, bringing attention to what is happening in China today—examining allegations of a state-sanctioned, billion-dollar transplant industry involving forced organ harvesting and the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners —individuals who uphold the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance—and more recently extending to other vulnerable groups. The documentary reveals the machinery of state control, propaganda, and dehumanization that has enabled these atrocities to continue for decades.

This systematic forced organ harvesting constitutes a grave crime against humanity and a form of institutional state terrorism directed by the state apparatus against its own citizens. This atrocity poses an affront to human ethics, the rule of law, and the universal values that underpin free societies.

The screening is followed by a panel discussion with Jan Jekielek and a book launch for Killed to Order. It’s a great opportunity to engage with thought-provoking content and connect with fellow advocates and the creators.
