The FCCM will be holding a dialogue entitled "State of the Media: Freedom isn't Free" on the current state of Malaysia's media landscape this June 12, 2023 in Kuala Lumpur.
The event seeks to ask questions about press freedom and the sustainability of journalism given the financial and social pressures in a hyper-digitalised world.
The 2pm dialogue on June 12 will see a panel involvement by policymakers and industry experts comprising Deputy Communications and Digital Minister Teo Nie Ching, The Edge chief executive officer Ho Kay Tat and Sunway University associate professor Pauline Leong.
Admission will be FREE for FCCM members, who are allowed to bring in one guest each. Non-members will be required to pay RM30 per entry.
