About this Event

The Tulare Basin Watershed Network (TBWN) is excited to announce its first State of the Basin event! This gathering will be our first in-person meeting since 2019, and we can’t wait to see all of you.

OVERVIEW:

The State of the Basin event will focus on increasing awareness of the challenges facing the Tulare Basin and how a multi-benefit watershed approach can support resilience in the region.

Despite the challenges, this event’s focal point is on how there are viable pathways forward if we keep learning and acting together. Landscape-scale leadership and collaboration is essential for long-term success and the Tulare Basin Watershed Network is a forum to build needed collaboration capacities, form new partnerships, and learn about innovative multi-benefit opportunities in the region.

This multi-stakeholder event brings together speakers from diverse industries and sectors to talk about the environmental, economic, and social changes occurring in the region and the effective landscape- & regional-scale efforts that are working towards resilience.

Speakers range from agricultural groups, conservation groups, GSA’s, local and state government agencies, socio-economic groups, and more.
