Every spring we gather to learn from the experts in cold water conservation about the health of our beloved Animas River (and surrounding tributaries). Join us this year to listen to Chris Chambers and Ty Churchwell from National TU inform us about their efforts. John Bosowski, 5RTU conservation chair, will update us on Lightner Creek sedimentation issues. Kade Jackson with CPW will update us on the state of the fisheries, and Scott Roberts from MSI will tell us about a recent study we helped fund as well as the health of bugs that feed trout. An addition for this year is that Sensa Wolcott, who leads the Animas Watershed Partnership, will give us an update on that process.
Please come early to grab food and mingle. Come armed with questions and a thirst for knowledge.
