Billy Johnston, CFA III Candidate, is the Co-Founder and President of Deegan Johnston Consulting. Billy oversees DJC’s startup valuation business while advising the firm’s CFO business. Since launching DJC, Billy has worked with startup founders across industries to build comprehensive financial models so that founders can confidently present their business’s valuation to investors.

Prior to forming DJC, Billy worked as an investment analyst at a renowned Boston-based multifamily office after beginning his career on Wall Street at a well-known merchant investment bank.

Billy is a Chartered Financial Analyst Level III Candidate and holds a BBA in finance from the Isenberg School of Management and Honors College at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He serves as a volunteer finance instructor at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and as an “Expert in Residence” in startup valuation at the University of Massachusetts at Lowell’s startup incubator, the UMass Lowell iHub
