About this Event
In this three-hour session, we will talk mostly about building companies on a solid foundation and avoiding common legal and regulatory mistakes. Time permitting, we will talk about successful fundraising - i.e., raising in the right amounts, at the right intervals, on the right terms, and from the right investors.
The primary presenter, Paul A. Swegle, is currently general counsel to six tech companies and has previously been general counsel to a dozen others across varied industries. Paul has helped build and sell companies to Abbott Laboratories, Capital One, ING, and Nortek. In 2020, he helped a proptech through a successful de-SPAC IPO.
