Startup Day 2026

Startup Day is Seattle's one-day conference for founders and future founders, featuring tactical talks, co-founder matching, a startup fair, and networking. Taking place on May 15, 2026, at Bell Harbor Conference Center, the event packs the full founder journey into a single day. From validating ideas and finding co-founders to fundraising, hiring, and acquisitions.

Fifteen talks cover the topics that matter most to early-stage founders, delivered by entrepreneurs who've done it. Not theory, not consultants. Confirmed speakers include Ambika Singh (Armoire), Patrick Thompson (Clarify), David Shim (Read AI), Marius Ciocirlan (Mark OS), Emily Choi-Greene (Clearly AI), and more.

Beyond the main stage, attendees can book one-on-one meetings with investors, experienced founders, and experts in the Advisory Room, meet potential co-founders through a structured matching session, discover startups that are hiring at the Startup Fair, and connect with fellow builders during a happy hour.

Startup Day is produced by Marcelo Calbucci, who organized the original Startup Day events in 2009-2011 with 1000+ attendees and speakers like Rich Barton, Eric Ries, and Garry Tan. The event is backed by leading VCs and organizations such as Microsoft for Startups, Every.io, Wilson Sonsini, Ascend VC, Pack Ventures, and more.
