Startup Africa Day 2024 | Next Generation Africa

On Tuesday, June 11th, 2024, Cariplo Factory will host Startup Africa Day at its Milan location.

The event, moderated by the journalist Emil Abirascid, represents the closing event of the program “Next Generation Africa 2023” and it’s a unique opportunity to connect with African entrepreneurs and gain insight into the third documentary produced by Kenian media agency Startinev and videographer Valerio Casale during their trip to Kigali in August 2023.
Attendees will have the chance to be inspired and engage with innovators from both the Italian and East African ecosystems. Expect captivating pitches from our Ugandan and Rwandan startups, participate in thought-provoking discussions, and listen to a roundtable featuring key figures involved in cooperation and innovation across the African continent.

About Startup Africa

"StartupAfricaRoadtrip” is a non-profit project promoted by the BeEntrepreneurs Association, born in 2017 to create an inclusive and collaborative ecosystem between African entrepreneurs and Italian companies and startups. Its international team designs "Roadtrips", training, mentoring and acceleration programs, collaborating with numerous local partners. The goal is to contribute to the development of the future class of African entrepreneurs, connecting the different players (startups, universities, corporates, incubators, institutions) and facilitating the creation of synergies between the African and Italian innovation ecosystems. With its “Roadshow”, in fact, it proposes the connection and construction of Pan-African networks by organizing meetings and contamination initiatives between African startups and the ecosystem of the Italian and European innovation.
