Starting Veggies from Seed and Cuttings

We’ll be going over the basics of seed starting your vegetables and propagating plants from cuttings. Seed starting is one of the best ways to make sure your young plants get a head start on life. Learning how to propagate plants will help you turn one plant into 2, 2 plants into 4, and so on!

Gardening Basics is our new, free series of classes focused on teaching beginner gardening techniques. Gardeners of all experience levels are welcome. Please consider donating to LEAF to help keep our classes free.

• (not Nursery Ave.) to the California Nursery Historic Park, LEAF Community Garden is on your right side.
• There is ample parking inside this entrance.

Bike parking available at the garden.
Public Transit:

• AC Transit Bus 216 stops right outside the LEAF Community Garden. Get off at Niles Blvd. & Hillview Drive.
