Are you interested in embroidery but unsure where to start? Nervous to start an embroidery project? Or stuck with a current project?I'm here to help you! Weekly from January 7th until March 11th, on Wednesday nights, 645-845pm at PEI Community School (Charlottetown Rural Community School).
Think of this class a no-pressure embroidery support group. Class is designed for beginners in a relaxed, causal atmosphere for those looking to build confidence with this craft.
What to bring
A project to work on and any question you have. (it doesn't have to be a project from Unraveling Joy). Although as a full time embroidery artist, I have many designs and kits that you can purchase from me.
Register on Wednesday January 7th @ 630pm for $25 for the entire 10 weeks!
Topics and demonstrations that can be expected throughout the weeks
- Embroidery basics (including preparing and finishing your project)
- Needle threading
- Exploration of foundational stitches
- Introduction to 3D embroidery
- Reading various patterns
- Examples of relatable fibre arts
- Plus any topic proposed by students
