Starting Early is a indie rock trio that moonlight as a rock cover band. They play everything from classic rock to 90-2000s music and bring hip music and tasteful revelry to the DMV music scene.
Starting Early is brothers Rory and Declan O'Donnell (vocals, guitars, and bass) with Paul Mosimann (drums).
Filed under the nebulous genre of indie-rock, Starting Early has a sound that is unpretentiously fresh. Having cut their teeth by singing Beatle harmonies and instrumentally recreating the sounds of Cream and Led Zeppelin, the band injects a vintage vibe into their exciting and plucky songwriting. Starting Early released the album Hello in the fall of 2023.
