Starting A Non-Profit

If you are looking to form a non-profit or are currently running a non-profit this class is for you. I will take you step-by-step through the process of incorporating your non-profit, the responsbilities of a 501c3, selecting and vetting board members, creating a fundraising plan and more.

This in-person class will be from10:00 am to 12:00 pm at TechTown Detroit.

The ticket fee of $40 includes your materials.

The agenda for this workshop includes:

(1) incorporating your non-profit;

(2) what it takes to write a compelling mission & vision statement;

(3) the "pros" and "cons" of running a start-up non-profit organization; and

(4) recruiting the right board members
