Start-Up Support: Be Your Own Boss

If you've ever dreamed of owning your own business this workshop is for you.

Business start-up specialist Richard Horrocks will guide you through:

• The pros and cons of working for yourself
• What to expect from self-employment
• How to choose the right legal status for your business
• Overcoming barriers to becoming self-employed

Is it time for you to 'feel the fear and do it anyway'?

This session is delivered through the Business Support Service at Liverpool City Council which provides fully-funded start-up support to Liverpool residents looking to create a new business and to early-stage businesses based in Liverpool. This project is funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund with the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority as the lead authority.

Please note this session is only for Liverpool residents looking to start a business, or early-stage businesses based in Liverpool who have been trading for under 12 months. We reserve the right to cancel tickets for those not in these groups and those not based in the Liverpool local authority area. Confirmation of your place on this session will be provided as soon as possible after you register by a member of our team. We will share any joining instructions with all those eligible nearer the day of the session via an email from our Business Support Service account with Eventbrite.
