Presented by the Mayor’s Office of LGBTQ Affairs in partnership with the Department of Insurance, Securities and Banking (DISB), the Office of Tax and Revenue (OTR), and the Department of Small and Local Business Development (DSLBD), Start Proud is a one-stop presentation designed to equip DC residents with the tools to launch, grow, and sustain small businesses. From grants and tax support to business licensing and mentorship, this session connects aspiring entrepreneurs with the resources they need to thrive in the District of Columbia.
