NEW ZEALAND'S BIGGEST SUPERCAR SHOW...Two years after the hugely successful sold-out 2021 event, Giltrap Group is delighted to confirm that this year's Starship Supercar Show will be held across two days (16-17 September) to allow even more people to experience New Zealand's most impressive gathering of high-performance and luxury machinery.
This year the event will host the official New Zealand debut of the 1140bhp Aston Martin Valkyrie, which comes as close as possible to being a Formula One car without being restricted to the track; the perfect way to pay tribute to Aston Martin's 110 years.
Another star attraction is the all-new Lamborghini Countach, one of only 112 built. Launched 50 years after the original Countach stunned the Geneva Motor Show, the new LPI-800-4 is an equally stunning car to see in the flesh. This hybrid powered Countach will be part of a celebration of Lamborghini's 60 years as a supercar builder.
This year also marks 60 years of McLaren, and the show will feature some of the finest and rarest Supercars produced by McLaren, including the super-rare 403km/h Speedtail and the Elva.
Porsche will mark 75 years at the show with an eight-car display, including the new 911 Dakar, a 21st-century re-boot of the legendary Dakar Rally-winning 911 from 1984.
More cars will be announced in the lead-up to the show. Eighty cars worth over $70-million will be displayed over five levels of the award-winning 119GNR building in Auckland's Grey Lynn, with 100% of ticket sales revenue going to the Starship Foundation.
