The planned trajectory is suborbital. Seventh flight of Starship and Super Heavy and the first with a Block 2 Ship. Details about the mission remain scarce at this moment other than Elon confirming that the ship for this mission will be attempting a landing on the ocean and it is assumed that SpaceX will attempt a catch of the booster for this mission.
While this mission will be the first flight of a Block 2 Starship vehicle, the Super Heavy booster is still a Block 1 vehicle and this will be the case until a Block 2 Super Heavy vehicle is produced and assigned for a flight.
The launch date is tentative and based on official documentation stating that the launch is currently NET January 2025. The entry will be updated with more accurate information whenever it becomes available.
