Starry Snow Globe City|Kids Grade 3-5

Students will learn watercolor techniques to paint the background with cool colors and swirls inspired by Starry Night. Then, students will give this painting a twist by learning about iconic buildings in Raleigh and around the world to draw their own whimsical skyline. We will learn drawing techniques like how to make buildings look 3D, and how to arrange them over the watercolor background to create a truly magical one-of-a-kind mixed media work of art. We’ll top it all off with some “snow” to turn it into a snow globe fit for the season.
