Starling is the passion project of Paul Spacek and whichever musician friends he can trick into playing his silly songs with him.

Rooted in a worldview that is a few degrees off center, Starling presents songs that hope to leave the audience saying “did he just say what I thought he just said? I think he did”. Reveling in collaboration and finding the joy in making meaning with friends, Starling is committed to the concept of music as community rather than music as a commodity.
