Welcome to the Starlight International Youth Basketball Open! This exciting event brings together young basketball enthusiasts from all over the world to compete and showcase their skills. Join us on between Aug 11 and August 13 2023 at Clementi Sports Centre, Singapore for a three day journey filled with intense games, high-flying dunks, and thrilling moments on the court.

AGE GROUP: U8, U10, U12, U14 (Boys, Girls)

GAME FORMAT: 4 vs.4 for U8/U10; 5 vs.5 for U12/U14

REGISTRATION DATE: August 11-13, 2023

REGISTRATION FEE: 100 Singapore dollar per team player. The registration fee covers 2 sets of competition uniforms, team photos, insurance policy for the competition and competition rewards. The registration fee does not cover flight tickets, accommodation, and food expenses in Singapore.

TEAM SIZE: U8/U10 groups, each team can register 2 coaches and 8-10 players ; U12/U14 groups, each team can register 2 coaches and 10-15 players

AGE REQUIREMENT:

Under 8 group: Those born on or after January 1, 2015

Under 10 group: those born on or after January 1, 2013

Under 12 group: those born on or after January 1, 2011

Under 14 group: those born on or after January 1, 2009.

U8/U10/U12 categories consist of mixed-gender teams. The U14 category is divided into separate male and female groups.

* Associations, schools, clubs, and social institutions worldwide are eligible to
register teams. Only team registrations will be accepted; individual player registrations are not
permitted.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. Schedule/Format

• Each team plays 5 games in a total of 3 days.

• There are 8 teams in each group, and the format will be a single round-robin followed by cross-elimination matches.

• Each group has 4 teams that will play a single round-robin. The top two teams with the highest points will advance to the elimination matches, while the remaining two teams will play a placement match for their final ranking.
