SJDA is back with Starlight Cinema, presented by UA Local Union 393 and in partnership with Viva Parks.Experience the magic of outdoor cinema with your family & friends as we showcase four beloved classics on the big screen.
Movies kick off at dusk, but the excitement starts before! Join us for games & activities leading up to each screening.
Located at St. James Park, at the corner of N. Third and E. St. James streets (across from The Corinthian Grand Ballroom). Bring a blanket, lawn chair and warm layers.

Join us for Barbie on Saturday, July 6! Movie begins at 8:50 p.m.
Arrive at 7:30 p.m. for our pre-movie program:
- Special appearances from local Drag Queens Gem.In.I and Silvanna
- DJ sponsored by Splash Bar
- Tie-dye bandana craft activity with Guadalupe River Park Conservancy
- Free Barbie-themed face painting by Stardrop Events
- Lawn games, rock wall by Climb On, & free t-shirt press designs by Mobile Screen Printing Party, provided by Viva Parks
Come dressed as your favorite Barbie or Ken and take fun photos with our Barbie props!
