View the University's new telescope, alongside its existing 10"-aperture telescope, and take part in stargazing in our own Botanic Gardens
Hear from the School of Physics about the University's new advanced 16"-aperture telescope, and view it along with the 10"-aperture University telescope, before taking part in stargazing in the Cruickshank Botanic Gardens.
Four short talks (approx. 15 min each) will be given in the Auris Lecture Theatre from 6:00pm to 7:30pm and then repeated 7:30pm to 9pm, with roughly 10 minutes in between each talk. Following the talks you can take part in stargazing in the University’s beautiful Cruickshank Botanic Garden, weather permitting.
