Starcatchers Playspace: Storytelling with Andy Cannon

Telling stories is a vital part of human connection. Storytelling provides lots of opportunities to connect deeply with children, through eye contact and by being responsive to what they’re telling you verbally or through body language. Join one of Scotland’s leading storytellers as he talks about his practice and experience, and explores storytelling for the under 5s.

Andy was a founder of Wee Stories Theatre where he created productions including Labyrinth, Treasure Island and Arthur, Story of a King. He has recently created and performed in Spike, A Dinosaur Caper, for Starcatchers.

This event is funded by Playspace, Starcatchers' artist development programme for artists who are interested in working with or developing work for babies and young children.
