What is Twin Suns?
Twin Suns is a 4-player, multiplayer singleton format for Star Wars™: Unlimited where players build decks with two leaders, one base, and 80 cards.
Deck build:
• These leaders must share either the Heroism (white) or Villainy (black) aspect.
• You will start the game with both leaders in play, and you’ll be able to use both of their abilities throughout the game.
• Your deck must include exactly one base.
• Your deck must include a minimum 80-card draw deck. You cannot have more than one copy of any card on your deck.
Gameplay:
You begin the game with both of your leaders in play. The player with the initiative takes the first action and then turns proceed in a clockwise order. Players can only pass their turn if they have no other legal actions to take. They cannot pass voluntarily.
Twin Suns introduces three counters: the initiative counter, blast counter, and plan counter.
• On your turn, instead of taking the initiative, you can take one of the available counters and automatically pass for the rest of your turns in that action phase.
• Taking the blast counter deals 1 damage to each opponent's base.
• Taking the plan counter allows you to draw a card and then place a card from your hand on the bottom of your deck.
In a Twin Suns game, once a player’s base has been reduced to 0 HP, that player is eliminated and can’t take any more actions. The player who eliminated them (such as by dealing the last bit of damage to their base) immediately heals 5 damage from their own base. At that point, the game continues until the end of the current phase. At the end of the phase, after any lingering card abilities are resolved, the player with the most HP remaining on their base wins the game!
Players will be divided on 4 pods. Best of one match.
Second to forth winner spots will be decided based on remaining health.
Prizes according to attendance
