The Ogre’s Den will be hosting a 1 day, 3 round Legion Tournament on Saturday March 1st, 2025. Longshanks will be used for this event. As such you must have a Longshanks profile to play! Account creation is very easy. The event link is: https://www.longshanks.org/event/23201/ Please register for the event in Longshanks in advance if you plan to attend. This helps us out immensely as it gives us an idea of how many players to expect.
Entry// $20+GST. Event Fees will be 100% returned in prize support.
Format// Swiss, 3 rounds, 1000 points
If more than 8 players attend, tie breakers will likely be needed to determine the winner. The tie breakers used will be the Legion Standard (according to Longshanks):

Army Size// Standard 1,000 points. Army lists to be entered in Longshanks prior to the event. Fully painted armies are not required for this event, although there is a painting prize. Non official models and/or 3D printed models are allowed but must be easily recognizable by your opponent and be on the correct base size.
Please bring a printed copy of your list (without command cards) for your opponent to look at prior to the match. Official cards for your units and upgrades are required. Please check a list builder such as Tabletop Admiral to ensure you have the most up to date cards.
Prizing// Prizing will be determined by attendance; however, the Den has multiple 2024 tournament kits and a 2023 store championship kit to add to the prize pool. The cards and dice in the kits will be given out in a variety of ways. Some items just for attending, some for playing in the top 4, top 8 and others will be raffled off.
Raffle tickets can be earned by having a fully painted army, sportsmanship, winning a match, losing a match and at the TO’s discretion.
We will also be giving copies of The Asset and Paploo’s Wild Ride organized play kits to anyone attending who is interested (while supplies last)

Schedule//
8:30am: Registration
9am to 11:45: Round 1 Play
11:45 to 12:15: Lunch
12:15 to 3pm: Round 2 Play
3:15p to 6pm: Round 3 Play
6pm to 6:30: Clean up and Awards
Rounds will be 2h 45m in length. Players will be informed when 15 minutes remain in the round. Once the round timer has expired it’s dice down, the game ends and calculate the final VP’s as the board sits.
