STAR WALK XXX: Sunday, August 11 | 8-9:30 p.m. (Check-in at 7 p.m.)
- The Perseid Meteor Shower is spectacular at 50 Meteors per hour; See Planets: Mercury, Venus, and Saturn; Where are the others? August is the best time for Brilliant Summer Constellations; The Waxing Crescent Moon sets in the Southwest. Bring Binoculars for easy “naked eye” Deep Space Objects.
