Star Spangled Christmas Free Community Open House

Guests are invited to see the home of Akron's and Summit County's founding family as a kick off to the America250 year during the free open house.

The Perkins Stone Mansion and John Brown House parking is available in the paved lot behind both houses. Wassail and shortbread cookies will be served.

The theme at the Perkins Stone Mansion is A Star Spangled Christmas curated by Denise Remark Lundell. The John Brown House features animated characters and Santa Clauses from downtown Akron holidays along with Summit County barn paintings by Bob Kroeger.
