This combination was a hit at the AKG outdoor jazz series opener in July so we thought “Why not reprise and expand this wonderful musical pairing. Tim Clarke trumpet, Andy Weinzler alto sax, John Hasselback, Jr. trombone, Joe Goehle bass, George Caldwell piano and John Bacon drums will join the wonderful Alex McArthur to celebrate this year in song. The group Star People began at Pausa as an ensemble dedicated to performing music from Miles Davis’ extensive catalog.
