Join us on Saturday 28th February from 6pm – 8pm for our annual Star Party at Christchurch Mansion!✨
We will be joined by the Orwell Astronomical Society, who will help you observe the universe through their telescopes.
Come along and see the winter constellations, a nearby galaxy, stellar nurseries and star clusters. The Moon and Jupiter will also be well placed to view. 🌙
As this event is weather dependent, the weather forecast will be reviewed a few days before and if the weather is unsuitable, the event would instead take place indoors.
The indoor event would include a presentation of previously recorded footage taken by Society members with a chance to ask them any astronomy questions and see their equipment. 🙌
