On September 13th, Berlin comes alive with Star Formation, headlined by Stacey "Hotwaxx" Hale, the Detroit icon and Godmother of House. From the disco and queer clubs of 1970s Detroit, New York's legendary Studio 54 and to the global stage, Hale has blazed a trail as one of dance music's true pioneers. Her set will be a journey through house music's roots and its ever-evolving future.Building the energy for the night are Costanza, Esveae, and Alkarline— a lineup of distinctive voices in Berlin's scene, each bringing their own deep grooves and eclectic rhythms to set the stage.
Presented by G3 and Alternate School, Star Formation is a celebration of house music's past, present, and the powerful community it continues to inspire.
