Star City Sustainability Series Presentation

The public is invited to the next Star City Sustainability Series presentation featuring Zhuo "April" Fu Ph.D. on Wednesday Dec. 11 from 6-7 p.m. at Clean Valley Council Headquarters.

Dr. Fu an instructor in the Virginia Tech School of Neuroscience will present "The Neurodevelopmental and Behavioral Impact of Daily Chemicals on Aquatic Life." She will discuss recent research on how everyday household chemicals affect brain development and behavior on fish and other aquatic species and potential responses to these findings.

“We are excited to have Dr. Fu present on a topic with great significance regarding daily chemicals and their effects on the wildlife in our waterways” said Courtney Plaster CVC executive director.

The CVC Headquarters is inside Heights Community Church 2014 Memorial Ave. SW Roanoke 24015. The presentation will be in the Welcome Center.
