This is a two-session class.
Learn to create a beautiful Christmas tree skirt that you and your family will enjoy for generations to come. You can choose classic or whimsical fabrics to make a tree skirt that coordinates with your Christmas décor. While you make this tree skirt, you will learn tips for cutting your fabric and working with directional fabrics. We will review piecing and ironing techniques. You will learn to cut bias binding and to bind around a circle and corners that are not 90 degrees. We will also discuss and practice techniques for using a walking foot to quilt. There will be homework to complete between classes
