Proceeds will benefit Foundation 45,a suicide, addiction, and mental health awareness group serving the Dallas/Fort Worth creative community by providing free top-tier mental health and recovery services while working to destigmatize the conversation around mental health. Come out for a full day of great food and fun for a good cause!

Got $10? Then you get a spoon and a ballot to vote for your favorite chili, plus a drink ticket for one Busch Light draft beer! Two cash prizes will be awarded; one by People’s Choice votes and one by a panel of judges. Chili is ANYTHING GOES – vegetarian, beans, fillers, etc.

Thanks for entering Stan’s Blue Note’s 13th annual chili cook-off! We are going to have a great time and eat some great chili! Here are some things you need to know:

• Your chili must be prepared at home and arrive at Stan’s in a crock pot or some type of warming device by 2:30 pm on Sunday, Feb. 16. As part of your entry fee, you will be given a drink ticket for one Busch Light draft beer. Your chili will be given a number at this time and sent to the judging area.
• All chili entries are Anything Goes – vegetarian, beans, fillers, etc.
• People’s Choice Judging – The voting is done by anyone that wants to buy a spoon and ballot and participate at Stan’s that day. People can buy multiple ballots at $10 each. Winner will receive a cash prize based upon popular vote.
• A panel of judges will be tasting all chili entries and awarding a cash prize for Judges Choice.
• Tasting and judging will begin at 3:00 and will close at 5:00. Votes will be counted and the results announced before 6:00 p.m.
