Heritage in Bloom: Stanley Park’s Annual Fundraiser
Join us for Heritage in Bloom, an unforgettable evening celebrating the history, beauty, and enduring legacy of Stanley Park.
Held in the picturesque Beveridge Pavilion, surrounded by the park’s gardens and natural beauty, this year’s Annual Gala & Fundraiser will bring together friends, supporters, and community leaders for a memorable evening in support of one of the region’s most treasured public spaces.
Building on the success of previous years, the event will feature an expanded lineup of online raffles, a dynamic online auction, and exciting in-person raffle opportunities throughout the evening.
Guests will enjoy light hors d’oeuvres during cocktail hour, including a guided garden tour highlighting the beauty, history, and stewardship of Stanley Park’s gardens. Dinner stations and dessert, catered by The Bubble Mug Cafe at the Pottery Cellar, will follow. A cash bar will be available throughout the evening as guests gather to celebrate all that Stanley Park means to our community.
As part of the evening’s festivities, guests will participate in the Stanley Park Heritage Challenge, a fun and engaging team competition that will test participants’ knowledge of the park’s history, gardens, landmarks, wildlife, and memorable moments. The challenge will celebrate the stories, people, and places that have shaped Stanley Park over the past 75 years while offering a chance to compete for prizes and bragging rights.
We are also honored to welcome Ward Caswell, great-grandson of park founder Frank Stanley Beveridge, as our guest speaker. Ward will share reflections on the vision that inspired Stanley Park’s creation, the legacy that has guided its growth, and the responsibility we all share in preserving this remarkable community resource for future generations.
Through the theme Heritage in Bloom, we celebrate the generations of donors, volunteers, staff, and visitors who have helped Stanley Park flourish for more than 75 years. Heritage is what we have inherited; legacy is what we leave behind. Together, we will honor the park’s heritage while helping ensure its gardens, programs, trails, and peaceful spaces continue to inspire and enrich our community for generations to come.
