Amsterdam! 2 of the stars from the 2022 Edinburgh Fringe Festival are bringing their best jokes to our city for 1 night only! Come to PATRON STAGE (Potgieterstraat 63HS, 1053 XV Amsterdam) on 5th February (Saturday) to join us on an incredible comedy night with Sid Singh from BBC (Muzlamic, Comic Relief & Comedy Central's Modern Horror Stories) and Ram Arangi, rising comedy star in the Netherlands. A perfect English entertainer with 2 touring international comedians that will make you laugh out loud all the way!

Sid & Ram are two comics of Indian origin who spent most of their lives in the West. This means the people in India consider them as "Westerners." Plot twist - the Westerners consider them "Indians." This brings us to the hilarious "Indian Rejects" comedy show where these 2 comedians try to figure out who they really are and find the humor in being the eternal outsiders!

Sid & Ram are fresh off a sold out comedy tour in India so they are going to tell you all about finding themselves in the motherland and more importantly how it felt to perform comedy in front of "home" crowd that considers them to be foreigners!

Indian Rejects comedy show is a one of it's kind special as Sid & Ram will be doing their best standup jokes + improvised standup based on the audience in the room!

Patron Stage, named after the restaurant’s bossy cat, is a comedy club established by a group of international comedians from all different backgrounds.

Pizza Padrone, where the events happen, is famous with being one of the “top 500 italian restaurants in Amsterdam which is run by non-italians”.

About the Comedians

Sid Singh

Sid Singh is an accomplished stand up comedian and writer whose work has appeared on BBC's Muzlamic and Comic Relief, Comedy Central UK's Modern Horror Stories, BBC3's Comedy Shorts, and more! Most recently he was a cast member at the famed Boom Chicago theatre in Amsterdam where he wrote and starred in their show The Future Is Here.

In 2019 and 2022 his Edinburgh Fringe Show American Refugee was listed as one of just four Free Shows to Watch by The Scotsman who stated that "This is a game-changer of a show, or at least it should be, because playing the game Sid's way, you get the feeling that your chances of winning are exponentially increased. " and Radio Haha which stated: "His coolness on stage is remnant of that of Dave Chappelle, whilst his level-headed demeanour is likened to late-night talk show hosts like Trevor Noah and Stephen Colbert. How is this guy not bigger than he currently is?" Chortle too added again "Seriously, how is this guy not bigger than he is?"

Sid has since toured the show around America and Europe headlining theatre shows in New York, Berlin, London, Amsterdam, Prague, Barcelona and more as a result! In addition, his debut comedy album Amazing! Probably reached number 3 on the iTunes comedy chart and can still be streamed on all major platforms today!

Ram Arangi

25 year old Ram Arangi is quickly making waves across the European comedy circuit as a prolific traveling comedian that performs across The Netherlands, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Spain, and Czech Republic. He uses the power of storytelling to unlock humor from unusual places across 5 countries. His latest comedy special (The Local Tourist) has sold out across Amsterdam, London, Paris, Berlin, and Edinburgh.
