Standup 101 - Stand Up Class Series

Standup comedy workshop series to help develop your first or next stand up comedy set - includes 5 classes and a show!
About this Event

This is a 5 week workshop series, in which you will learn stand up comedy mechanics, writing, performing, and more. The class will both get you comfortable on stage as well as helping developing your first (or next) ~5 min set. The series ends with a showcase show.

Veteran comic and comedy instructor Steve Lesser will be teaching. Steve has been performing comedy (improv, standup, and sketch) since 1994 with over 4500 performances and has been teaching stand up for almost 20 years.

Wednesdays

July 29th 7-8pm
August 5th, 12th, 19th, and 26th 7 - 9pm
Target date (and therefore subject to change) for the graduate showcase show will be early September
