Stand With Black Women Brunch

I would like to personally invite you’ll to an exclusive no cost event. Stand with Black Women Brunch, to be held on Saturday, October 1, 2022, 10:30am-2:30pm at Rusty Pelican Miami.

Please join us for a morning of delicious food, discussion and fellowship with our community. This will be a celebration of our unique power-- but also a call to action. This years brunch theme is "Singing in the Rain". There will be discussion on the impact of the following topics: access to abortion healthcare, Don't Say Gay Bill/Parental Bill of Rights and critical race theory. It's time to enhance our knowledge, build our power and organize our communities around the issues that matter most to Black women. This is an invitation of many invites for a call to action.

Our group of dedicated Black Women who serve South Florida, will host the Stand with Black Women Brunch. Let's celebrate Black Womanhood! Join us for a great meal, networking and heart to heart discussion on how we can better ourselves, families, and our community. This will be an event you do not want to miss.

Please RSVP on Eventbrite. Reservations will close Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at 5pm. Your ticket will allow you a reserved seat for the event until 11am. After we cannot guarantee admittance into the event as we will allow other guests to enter.

FOR VENDORS: We are calling for black-led organizations and black owned businesses to be vendors (table or sell items) at the brunch. Please reach out to to Diamond Delancy at [email protected] or 786-261-4350 PRIOR to paying.

SPONSORSHIP: We are accepting sponsorships on a sliding scale of $100-$1000. Please consider sponsoring at a higher-level if you are not are a black-led organization or business. Your sponsorship will assist us in cultivating a successful event for the Brunch and community.

The sponsorships that we receive will go towards funding of venue, food, advertisement materials, contracted performances, and decor. Sponsors will have their logos on all printed and digital materials, be mentioned as a sponsor throughout the event and may also send in items to be included in takeaway materials for attendees of Black Women Brunch. Any remaining funds will be dedicated to our Education Department’s Adult Education and Peer Education programming such as Time For Your Teen and LIGHT.
