Michelle Castro is a Miami-based comedian, improviser, instructor, producer, and host who has been performing comedy since 2017. After years in improv, she made the jump into stand-up and has since performed at the Miami Improv, Fort Lauderdale Improv, and on Don’t Tell Comedy shows throughout Miami, along with stages and comedy festivals across the country.

She’s also the producer and host of Stand Up Miami, Just The Funny’s weekly stand-up comedy show, where she works to spotlight local comedians and bring some of her favorite funny people together on one stage.

Her comedy is rooted in storytelling, family, dating, growing up in Miami, and the everyday situations that somehow become way more complicated than they need to be. When she’s not behind the mic, you can find her performing improv, teaching comedy, producing shows, or — realistically — still somewhere inside a comedy theater.

This birthday show brings both sides of her comedy life together for one night: the stand-up she’s built and the improv that started it all.
