Stand Up Miami Presents: Dina Cruz ⭐ (One Night Only)
About this Event
Stand Up Miami Presents: Dina Cruz ⭐ One Night Only!
Get ready for a special night of stand-up comedy as Stand Up Miami welcomes touring comedian Dina Cruz to the intimate Spotlight Stage inside Just The Funny Theater.
Dina Cruz describes her style as honest, vulnerable, and highly relatable millennial perspective storytelling. Her material bridges the gap between older generation complaints and Gen Z slang, focusing closely on her life as a 40-year-old single Latina mother raising a teenager in Miami while managing dating, sex, aging, and cultural expectations. She often performs bilingual "Spanglish" sets to connect with diverse crowds. Her major comedic influences include Eddie Murphy, Betty White, Richard Pryor, and Martin Lawrence.
Dina Cruz is a rising Miami-based stand-up comedian, actress, and content creator. Born in Brooklyn, New York, she spent her early years working as a child actress and commercial model. Before pivoting to comedy, she spent years working in corporate America. Following a divorce, she left her corporate job at UnitedHealthcare to pursue creative fulfillment, officially stepping onto the stand-up comedy stage in February 2022 at the age of 36.
If you’ve been waiting to see a comic in a close, intimate room — this is that show.
