Stand Up for Equal Shared Parenting & Family Court Reform - Idaho Falls

Join Mothers and Fathers Truly Matter for a peaceful community gathering outside the Bonneville County Courthouse in Idaho Falls, Idaho as we stand up for equal shared parenting, 50/50 custody, parental rights, family court reform, and children’s right to meaningful access to both parents.We will be meeting for two hours to raise awareness about the impact family court decisions can have on children, parents, grandparents, and families. This gathering is for anyone who believes that fit, loving parents should not have to go bankrupt fighting for reasonable parenting time, and that children should not be unnecessarily separated from either parent.

During the gathering, we will:Share stories from parents and families impacted by the family court system
Hand out flyers and educational materials
Talk about 50/50 shared parenting, parenting time, custody reform, parental alienation, co-parenting, child access, and court accountability
Connect with other parents, advocates, and community members who believe family court should put children first
Raise awareness for families dealing with restricted access, alienating behaviors, unfair custody outcomes, and the emotional damage caused when children are separated from a loving parentThis is not about attacking one parent. This is about protecting children.We believe that children deserve access to both parents whenever it is safe and appropriate. We believe the starting point in family court should be fairness, accountability, and a serious look at both parents’ role in the child’s life. Too many parents are walking into courtrooms where the outcome already feels predetermined, where one parent is reduced to limited visitation, and where children lose time, connection, stability, and love.We are advocating for:Equal shared parenting

Come stand with us, share your experience if you feel comfortable, take a flyer, hold a sign, or simply show support for children and families.This will be a peaceful, respectful, child-focused gathering. Please bring signs, wear comfortable clothing, and invite anyone who cares about parental rights, custody reform, shared parenting, and the future of families in Idaho.Every child deserves meaningful access to both parents.
