Ever thought about trying stand-up comedy? Come turn those thoughts into your first five minutes!
Join comedian Giada Severini at The Jungle Comedy Club for a beginner-friendly workshop for women and LGBTQ+. We’ll cover the basics of stand-up, explore how to turn your ideas into jokes, and help you start writing your first five-minute set.
No experience needed, just curiosity, your perspective, and something to write with.

Day 1

Basics, Tools and Stage Presence
Info: We get to know each other and learn the basics of stand-up comedy including some theoretical tools and real life examples. We also discussed stage presence and the challenges especially as women and LGBTQ+ performers.
Day 2
🕑: 10:00 AM - 04:00 PM
Writing and performing your first set
Info: We start with a Q&A on the concepts discussed the previous day. We then go over your ideas and material and take turns performing your first five minute-set on stage followed by feedback rounds.
